The Basic Tactical Operations Course (BTOC) is a 4-week intensive course designed to prepare personnel for high-risk interdiction operations in the maritime environment.

The topic is designed to prepare a new operator and to develop the basic skills needed to operate as a member of a VBSS (Visit, board, search, and seizure) Inspection Team or Assault Team.

This course covers Advanced Interdiction skills such as Advanced Combat Marksmanship, Close Quarters Combat (CQC), and Progressive Breaching.
